The goal and intention for this website is to give you entertaining, inspiring, purposeful articles to help you create positive ripple effects in your life.

What is a ripple effect you ask?

It is simply the continuing and spreading results of an event or action.

You take action after action throughout the course of your day. Even if there is no action taking place, the idea of taking no action is still in fact action (I know…mind blown). Each action, big or small, has an impact on your life. It is up to you to determine whether those actions are adding purpose and value to your life, or maybe even contributing to your inevitable doom (it’s really not that bad, I promise).

You will notice there are three main categories at the top of the page titled Body, Belly, and Soul. In the time I’ve been a coach, as well as in my own personal experience, I have found these are all so deeply connected. You could even say, they ripple off one another…see what I did there? If one is on point, the others are more likely to be headed in the same direction. Here’s how I’ve broken them up.

Body

Body is composed of two categories: Movement and TLC. Your body’s appearance is related to how you’re moving it, as well as how you’re taking care of yourself. The category movement is to give you methods of exercise, specific workouts, and tricks to help you get stronger in your physical fitness. TLC stands for Tender Loving Care and that’s exactly what you should be giving your body. I’ve worked with so many clients who are so focused on losing the weight, or achieving a certain look, that they forget their body is indeed of tender loving care! Under this category you will find different recovery tactics to get your body (and consequently your mind) feeling A+!

Belly

Nutrition is one of the most over complicated components of health. You may feel bombarded, overwhelmed, and frustrated with what is out there in regards to nutrition and diet culture. I’m not here to tell you what diet is going to work for you, hold your hand while you eat the exact amount of calories you think you need in a day, or spoon feed you my own diet system. To be honest, I don’t really believe in any of that stuff. That’s why I broke Belly into two sections: Grub You’ll Love, and Tips and Tricks. I believe nutrition should be as simple and enjoyable as possible. Grub You’ll Love will have recipes that are simple, delicious, and fit within your schedule to make. Tips and Tricks will be just that: Tips and Tricks to help master your eating, removing all guilt from food and nourishing your body from the inside out.

Soul

You know that feeling when you can almost feel your entire body vibrating from complete and utter happiness? That feeling when all worry washes away and you feel elated to just be you in the moment you’re in? I want you to experience more of that. My goal is to share real experiences and lessons learned to give you a different perspective on life. Soul is broken up into four categories: Momhood, Beauty Standards, Life Nuggets, and Belly Laughs. Momhood will include real stories, struggles, and triumphs of being a parent in today’s world. Beauty standards will dive into what we’re taught about beauty, as well as inspiring content to help you recognize the beauty that lies within you… absent of any of the “only when I…” conditions you’ve been telling yourself for years. Life nuggets will be composed of collected wisdom obtained throughout years of my own mistakes, and successes, intended to help you create positive ripples in your own life. Finally, belly laughs will be hilarious stories to give you a chuckle, because laughter is life and everyone deserves a little bit more of it. Also…I want to give you an opportunity to submit a hilarious story anonymously to be featured on the website. I believe if we find a way to laugh at ourselves, we have discovered that life isn’t to be taken TOO seriously. :)
